Sarah will be taking part in a 25mile trek of Hadrians Wall in aid of Alzheimer’s Society. On 17th June 2016 Sarah Hayton, a sales assistant from our Keswick branch is looking out her walking boots and setting off on a 25 mile trek of Hadrian’s Wall, back in April this year Sarah successfully raised over £1600 for the Keswick Flood Appeal by walking the 26 miles from Keswick to Cockermouth. Keswick was badly hit by the floods in December 2015 and Sarah was keen to do her bit to help.
Sarah will be fundraising this time for Alzheimer’s Society, our partnership charity of the year. This charity is especially close to Sarah’s heart after sadly losing her father to the disease last year. The dates of the walk are also especially poignant as the walk ends on Fathers Day, June 19th.
