Seghill Bowling Club
Seghill Bowling Club is a friendly club catering for all ranges of bowlers young and old, within the local community. The club participates in various local leagues on different days throughout the summer months April to August. If you just want to participate without any competition then that is also encouraged. We are always actively on the lookout for new members.
Funding Goal
Funding would help improve the bowling club with new bowls pushers, an all-weather storage shed and green lighting, making it easier for members and visiting teams to enjoy the facilities throughout the year.
Weardale Young Farmers
Weardale Young Farmers’ Club is a youth organisation dedicated to supporting young people in rural and agricultural communities. Through community work, fundraising, and skill-building projects, the club combats rural isolation and empowers the next generation of community leaders.
Funding Goal
Funding would help secure the club’s future, supporting its youth-led approach and giving young people the opportunity to plan activities, develop leadership skills and raise funds for charitable causes.
Keswick Football Club
Keswick FC is an important part of the local community. Our 10 junior teams, provide children and young people in the town with sociable exercise, education and enjoyment, along with a fun and safe environment to enjoy sport at all levels and participate in healthy activities that help their personal development. We share a passion for football, an ambition to be the best we can be, and to help develop all our young players as they progress from non-competitive to the highest levels of competitive sport.
Funding Goal
Funding would help improve Keswick’s football facilities with new clubhouse equipment, branded kit, event shelter and bike storage, creating a more welcoming space and encouraging more local children, including girls, to get involved in football.
