Eden Valley and Penrith Astronomy Group took part in the Member Choice Awards for the cycle ended 30th August. For the length of the cycle, Lakes and Dales Coop members voted on a shortlist of three good causes and Eden Valley and Penrith Astronomy Group achieved the most votes. They will receive an award of £5,000 as a result.
The two other groups from the shortlist: Tyneside Gymnastics and Whamba! will each receive £1,000.
